Pulling up garlic bulbs never gets old. This year, I tried spacing them a little farther apart and wow, what a difference! The bulbs came out huge and super clean. I always mulch with straw to keep the weeds down and the soil moist. Makes harvesting way easier and the garlic stays perfect. After pulling them, I let them cure in the shade for a couple weeks. The smell is unreal! There’s something so rewarding about seeing all those braids hanging in the shed, knowing I grew every single one. If you haven’t tried growing garlic, you’re missing out.
