I was texting with my coworker about my sad little basil plant when she sent me a photo of her garden. Her tomatoes looked unreal. She swears by planting basil right next to her tomatoes. Supposedly, they help each other grow. I figured, why not? I moved my basil pot next to my tomato plant on the balcony. Within a week, my basil perked up.
