Let’s be real—hurting a friend SUCKS. 🙈 But I’ve learned that a real apology can save a friendship. Here’s how I do it: • I OWN my mistakes. No excuses, just honesty. • I ACKNOWLEDGE their feelings. I try to see it from their side and say it out loud. • I’m SPECIFIC about what I’m sorry for. No vague “sorry if you were upset”—I name what I did. • I PROMISE to do better. Actions > words, so I make sure to follow through. • I OFFER to make it up to them. Whether it’s a coffee date or just listening, I show I care. • I GIVE them space if they need it. Forgiveness can’t be forced. I always try to apologize in person (way more meaningful!), but if that’s not possible, a heartfelt message works too. And I NEVER use “but”—it just ruins the apology. 😅 At the end of the day, being genuine is EVERYTHING. I’d rather be awkward and real than fake and perfect. ❤️ #FriendshipGoals #SincereApology #MakeItRight #Education
