My Dog vs. The Invisible Enemy

Why do I even bother buying expensive toys when my dog’s arch-nemesis is… his own reflection? Every morning, like clockwork, he’ll spot himself in the oven door and launch into a barking frenzy. He’s convinced there’s a rival pup trapped inside, and he’s determined to save us all from this glassy intruder. No amount of treats, cuddles, or gentle explanations will convince him otherwise. Last week, he even tried to dig under the fridge to find the “other dog.” Spoiler: he found a dust bunny and looked personally betrayed. Sometimes I wonder if he’s playing 4D chess and I’m the real fool here. Anyone else have a pet who’s fighting imaginary battles and losing every time?
