We just wrapped up the Tour du Mont Blanc, trekking nearly 170 kilometers through France, Italy, and Switzerland. Let me tell you, the Alps are even more massive and overwhelming in person than any photo could ever show. We spent days winding through mountain passes, stopping in tiny villages for pastries and coffee that tasted like heaven after hours of hiking. But, honestly, my feet are still recovering from all those blisters, and there were moments when I wondered if I’d ever see a flat road again! The scenery was absolutely stunning—snow-capped peaks, wildflowers everywhere, and those little alpine cows with bells around their necks. But I have to admit, there were times when I questioned if all the pain and exhaustion was really worth it. Especially when we got lost on the Italian side and ended up hiking an extra hour just to find the right trail marker. Has anyone else done a long-distance hike like this? Did you feel like the beautiful views made up for the sore muscles and endless uphill climbs? Or do you think there are easier ways to enjoy the Alps without feeling like you’ve aged ten years in a week? Sometimes I wonder if we’re too old for these adventures, but then again, the memories are pretty unforgettable. #alpsadventure #tmbhike #travelstories #Travel
