Is Life Really Pointless, or Are We Just Searching for Meaning?

Sometimes I catch myself wondering if life is just totally pointless. I honestly posted this because I wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way. Maybe I just needed someone to say, "Yeah, it is pointless." But after reading through some comments, I realized that nobody can really tell you how to live your life.
