My Cat Adopted a Stray Kitten (Against His Will)

So, a tiny, scruffy kitten showed up in my backyard like she owned the place. I figured she’d vanish after a day or two, but nope—she’s now a permanent fixture, and my old tom cat (who hates literally everything) has somehow become her reluctant dad. At first, he hissed and sulked like the drama king he is. But now? He lets her steal his food, nap in his favorite spot, and even grooms her—though he pretends he’s not enjoying it. I guess even the grumpiest of us can’t resist a determined kitten. Watching them together is honestly the best part of my day.
