14 Years of Fur, Chaos, and Unconditional Love

Today marks 14 years since my dog crashed into my life like a tiny, furry tornado. I still remember the first time he chewed through my favorite sneakers (RIP), and how I swore I’d never forgive him. Spoiler: I did, about five minutes later. Fourteen years later, he’s a little slower, a lot grayer, and somehow even more stubborn. But every time he looks at me with those wise, slightly judgy eyes, I realize I wouldn’t trade a single chewed-up shoe for all the peace and quiet in the world. Here’s to you, old man. Thanks for teaching me patience, unconditional love, and the true meaning of finding dog hair in literally everything I own. Happy 14th, you absolute legend.
