Why Pick Sides? Cats & Dogs Both Deserve Love

Is it just me, or does the internet act like you have to swear loyalty to either Team Cat or Team Dog? Like, if you post a pic of your dog, you’re suddenly a cat hater, and vice versa. I’ve got a dog who thinks he’s a cat (seriously, he sits on my laptop), and I’ve had cats who fetch like dogs. The rivalry is honestly exhausting. Who decided we can’t just agree that both cats and dogs are absolute icons of cuteness? Why do we have to choose? Can’t we just appreciate toe beans and wagging tails equally? Life’s too short to argue about which pet is superior when both will ignore you for snacks anyway.
