Is My Cat a Secret Royalty or Just Fluffy?

Okay, so I adopted this cat from a shelter, and every day I get a new theory about her breed. My neighbor swears she’s part Maine Coon because of her bushy tail, but my mom thinks she’s just a regular tabby with an attitude problem. She struts around like she owns the place, chirps instead of meows, and has this weird obsession with water (seriously, she’ll sit in the sink for hours). I’ve spent way too much time on cat forums, and now I’m convinced she’s either a rare breed or just a very confused house cat. Anyone else have a mystery cat? Should I splurge on one of those DNA tests, or just accept that she’s 100% chaos and 0% pedigree?
