I just got a job offer with a $14,000 raise—sounds like a no-brainer, right? But here's the catch: the health insurance is worse, and the PTO isn't as generous. My husband is fighting stage-4 cancer, and our current plan has made his treatments manageable. The new company promises stability and exciting projects, but I'd have to start as a contractor with average benefits.
