unexpected animal encounters: are they ever really fun?

Last weekend, I was out for my usual morning walk in the neighborhood park, just enjoying the fresh air and the quiet. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a squirrel darted right across my path and nearly made me trip. I swear, my heart skipped a beat! I always thought animal encounters would be cute or funny, but honestly, it was more startling than anything else. It made me wonder if anyone else has had these "fun" animal run-ins that turn out to be more nerve-wracking than expected. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the older I get, the more cautious I am around even the smallest creatures. Have you ever had an animal encounter that didn’t go as planned?
