Ever had to give up your pet because someone else decided they weren’t worth the trouble? That’s my life right now. My family’s moving soon, and apparently, my cat Mango isn’t invited. Reason? She might mess up the new place. Never mind that I’m the only one who actually takes care of her—feeding, cleaning, vet trips (well, as much as I’m allowed). She’s got tummy issues, but getting her checked? Not a priority for anyone but me. I’ve spent hours crying and messaging every friend, neighbor, and random stranger online, trying to find her a home that isn’t a shelter. The guilt is unreal.
