Ever been hurt by someone and just can’t shake it? 😅 Yeah, me too. Here’s how I’ve learned to confront someone who’s hurt me—without losing my cool or my peace. ❤️ • I write out what I want to say first—keeps me from freezing up or going off track. • I stick to “I feel…” instead of blaming. It’s about my feelings, not their faults. • I pick just 1-2 big issues to talk about. No need to rehash every argument ever. 🙈 • I set the agenda. If I called the meeting, I get to decide what we talk about! • I listen as much as I talk. Repeating back what they say helps both of us feel heard. • I stay calm and in control—no yelling, no drama. • I own my part, but I don’t take blame that isn’t mine. • I don’t expect instant apologies. My healing isn’t about their reaction. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting or trusting blindly. Sometimes, it just means I can walk away lighter. 🕊️ How do you handle it?
