Am I really a leader? Any decision I make will be questioned by team members😅

I never thought a promotion could feel like a punishment. Last month, I was suddenly assigned to lead a new team at our downtown branch. I’m younger than most of my team, and honestly, I think they see me as an outsider who doesn’t deserve this role. Every decision I make gets questioned, and it feels like I’m under a microscope. Communication is tense, and I can sense people talking behind my back. Sometimes I wonder if I was set up to fail, just to fill a spot quickly. Has anyone else been thrown into leadership before they were ready? How did you earn your team’s respect and find your footing?
