Today, I finally quit my job after months of feeling like a punching bag. I gave three weeks’ notice—enough time to burn some leave and catch my breath. But my supervisor? She was so furious she couldn’t even speak to me. I had to talk to her lead instead. It’s not like I haven’t tried. I was accused of bullying just because I wouldn’t cover for a coworker who was always absent. Instead of holding him accountable, management just moved him to another team. Then, they gave me two new teammates who had no clue what they were doing. For four weeks, they did nothing—and nobody seemed to care. I’ve been pulling 10-11 hour days, and it finally broke me.
