Last spring, I tossed a few wildflower seeds into a corner of my yard, not expecting much. Fast forward to now, and it’s a full-on jungle of color. Turns out, mixing local plants with a few herbs keeps everything super low-maintenance. I love grabbing fresh mint for tea or basil for pasta right outside my door. I added a small bench under my apple tree, and it’s my favorite spot to chill after work. Birds and bees are always buzzing around, which makes the whole place feel alive. Watering in the early morning keeps the plants happy and saves water, too. Every day, there’s something new blooming or growing.
