My husband kept talking about these wild galaxy petunias he saw online. They looked unreal—like little purple stars in a pot. So, when we hit up a Flower & Garden Festival, we made it our mission to find them. No joke, the first booth we checked had trays full of them! We grabbed a couple and chatted with the vendor, who said they love lots of sun and don’t mind a little neglect. That’s my kind of plant. We set them up on our porch, and now every time I water them, I feel like I’m tending a tiny universe. If you ever spot a plant you love, just go for it.
