Is It Normal to Make Mistakes While Driving?

Hi all, I’ve been driving for almost two years now. Yesterday, my passenger pointed something out and I got distracted, accidentally driving up onto a road island. I had to get towed off and felt so embarrassed—my stomach dropped. Thankfully, no one was hurt and my car’s okay, but I can’t stop replaying it in my head. Honestly, I still make little mistakes behind the wheel. It makes me wonder if it’s normal or if I’m just a bad driver. But after talking to friends, I realized everyone slips up sometimes.
