Did you catch Jeff “The Cowboy” Brantley breaking down Pete Crow-Armstrong’s approach last night? Brantley basically handed the Reds the cheat code: keep it low and outside, and PCA will chase. During the second inning, Abbott fed him breaking balls and got him swinging at pitches in the dirt. Brantley compared him to Vlad Sr., but pointed out that Crow-Armstrong’s aggression is his Achilles’ heel.
