did i just unlock the secret to growing epic backyard tomatoes?

This summer, my tomato plants totally surprised me. I started with just a couple of seedlings, not expecting much. Turns out, watering them early in the morning made a huge difference. The leaves stayed happy, and the soil didn’t dry out too fast. I also tried mulching with some old straw, and wow, fewer weeds and juicier tomatoes. I picked the fruit as soon as it started turning red—no more waiting for that perfect shade. They finished ripening on my kitchen counter, and every bite tasted like sunshine.
