Woke Up to Kittens in My Backyard

So, apparently my backyard is now a maternity ward. I stepped outside this morning to water my plants and found a very smug-looking stray cat surrounded by a pile of tiny, squeaky kittens. She looked at me like, "Yeah, this is my spot now. Got a problem?" I’m not sure if I’m the landlord or the accidental godparent, but I’m definitely invested. I set out a box with an old towel and some food, because what else do you do when a random cat chooses your garden as her delivery room? Now my afternoons are spent watching these little furballs wobble around, and I’m weirdly proud of them. If anyone has tips on kitten care (or how to explain this to my landlord), I’m all ears.
