Congratulations, You’re the Boss! (But No One Told the Team)

Last month, I was quietly doing my job, when suddenly—boom—I’m the new team lead. Why? Because I had the right degree. Now, I’m the youngest person in the room, and it feels like everyone’s pretending I don’t exist. Every meeting is an awkward silence, and when I try to share ideas, they just hang in the air. If I ask for help, I get vague answers or just blank stares. But the minute something goes wrong, all eyes are on me.
