When Climbing the Ladder Feels Like Falling Off a Cliff 🧗‍♂️

Ever get the feeling that your own success has left you stranded? That’s where I am right now. I just got promoted to lead a team in our Seattle office, mostly because I crushed a big project last quarter. Instead of feeling on top of the world, I feel like I’m stuck on the outside looking in. Most of my team has been here way longer than me, and I’m only 26. Every meeting is tense, and it’s like my suggestions just disappear into thin air. The only time anyone talks to me is to point out problems or what I’m doing wrong. I thought stepping up would be a win, but honestly, I’m stressed and second-guessing myself every day.
