Feeling Left Behind as Friends Move Forward in Life

I’m a 26-year-old man, and lately, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m falling behind. As I get older, my social circle keeps shrinking, and the friends I do have seem to be making huge strides—getting married, starting families, building their futures. One of my oldest friends is about to become a dad, and another is planning to propose soon. Meanwhile, I’m still into video games and hobbies that feel immature compared to where they are. It’s hard not to feel jealous or like I’m missing out on something bigger. Sometimes I worry that I’ll always be stuck in this place, watching others move on while I stay the same.
