Ever since our baby arrived, I’ve felt a strong urge to keep things private and protect our little one from too many visitors. But my mom just can’t seem to understand why I don’t want everyone coming over to see the baby right away. It’s been tough explaining that this is about our comfort and our baby’s well-being, not about shutting people out.
