Anyone else wish we could skip the CPJ (cheap plastic junk) in goodie bags? I can’t be the only parent who dreads the inevitable pile of tiny, breakable toys that end up scattered around the house or tossed in the trash. I remember the excitement on my child’s face as they opened a goodie bag, only to see the disappointment when the toys broke within minutes. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we focused on meaningful, lasting treats—like a small book, a craft, or even a handwritten note? It’s the thought that counts, not the landfill fodder.
