Sorry, this is gonna sound pretty pathetic. I’m 17 and everyone around me seems to drive like it’s no big deal. But for me, just thinking about sitting in the driver’s seat makes my heart race and my hands shake. I haven’t even started a car yet, but my mind runs wild with every possible disaster. People say, “Just get an instructor!” but the idea of driving with a stranger freaks me out even more. I wish I could find an empty parking lot, but even that feels impossible.
