I’m in my early twenties, and lately, I’ve been questioning if the classic 9-5, 8-hour workday is even real anymore. My own experience has been a bit different—I’ve worked two jobs, both starting at 7 and ending by 3 or 3:30. I never had to clock in or out for lunch, and honestly, some days I just eat at my desk while working. But now, as I look at other jobs, I’m worried about being stuck somewhere that’s strict about hours and lunch breaks. The idea of having to stay an extra 30 minutes just because I took a lunch break stresses me out. Is this what most people deal with? Or am I just spoiled by my current setup?
