Raising Independent Kids: Our Summer Self-Sufficiency Challenge

This summer, I’m on a mission to help my two kids (ages 6 and 8) become more independent in their daily routines. We’re starting with simple things like making their own sandwiches and snacks, following a checklist to get ready in the morning, and taking charge of putting away their laundry. I’m also teaching them to tidy up their rooms and handle bath time on their own. Watching them gain confidence with each new skill is so rewarding!
