My Cat's Daily Audition for 'Silliest Pet Alive'

Every morning, my cat Pixel wakes up and immediately starts her campaign for the title of Silliest Pet Alive. Today’s performance: launching herself at the window to chase a sunbeam, missing, and then pretending she meant to do a dramatic flop on the floor. She followed it up by getting her head stuck in the handle of my tote bag, parading around like she’d just invented a new fashion trend. I swear she knows I’m watching and is just upping the chaos for my benefit. Anyone else have a pet who seems to think their main job is being a goofball? I used to think pets were supposed to be dignified, but now I’m convinced their real mission is to keep us laughing (and maybe a little concerned for their safety).
