Why Does My Cat Sit Like a Gremlin?

Can someone explain why my cat insists on sitting like he’s auditioning for a role as a tiny, furry gargoyle? One minute he’s loafing like a normal feline, the next he’s perched on the armrest, back hunched, paws dangling, eyes wide like he’s seen the ghost of his last treat. I swear, if I tried to mimic this pose, I’d pull a muscle I didn’t know existed. Is this a secret cat yoga move? A cry for help? Or just another episode of ‘Let’s Confuse the Human’? I’ve googled ‘weird cat poses’ more times than I’d like to admit, and the internet says it’s ‘normal behavior.’ Sure, if normal means looking like a Victorian child ghost waiting for revenge.
