Why Is Vilade Getting Gorman’s At-Bats?

Anyone else scratching their heads over Oli Marmol’s lineup choices lately? With Jordan Walker on the IL, the Cards have been rolling with Ryan Vilade against lefties, but many fans (and J.T. Buchheit from Redbird Rants) think Nolan Gorman should be getting those reps to prove he can handle southpaws. Isn’t this season supposed to be about giving the young core a real shot? Prioritizing Vilade over Gorman or even Burleson just doesn’t add up if we’re thinking long-term. What’s the plan here? #STLCards #NolanGorman #MLB #Sports
