My Dad Doesn’t Trust Me With Money—But Why?! 🤯🙄

Ever since I turned 18, I thought I’d finally get some freedom. But nope—my dad still controls every cent I make. I have to cash my paychecks and hand everything over to him. If I want to buy something online, I have to beg him. I told him I should have a debit card by now, maybe even start building credit, but he just gets mad and says cards will ruin my life. The thing is, I’m super careful with money and save most of it! He’s just projecting his own mistakes onto me, and it’s so unfair. He even keeps my social security card and won’t let me buy a car, even though I have the money. I’m so frustrated and confused—why can’t he trust me? Have you ever dealt with something like this?
