Yoshi's - Extensively Loaded Valentine's Day Japanese Combođź‘€

Valentine's Day has come around once again! My partner suggested having Japanese food! I thought he was talking about that detailed Japanese cuisine, one bite per dish, a dozen in a row! Who would've guessed we'd end up eating a massive Japanese-American combo meal [LOL]! Our dinner tonight was at Yoshi's, located in Jack London Square, a place with a long history (established in 1972) and high online reviews! For Valentine's Day, they rolled out a 4+1 combo meal, $125/per person, with a 22% service charge! Just to chat about the experience a bit: *The place was jam-packed and sprawling! First off, I've got to say, its popularity is through the roof and the place is huge! If you've been there, you'd totally believe me, it practically takes up the whole street! *The quantity of food was like buffet-style! Photo 3/4's appetizer of lobster chips and salad is more of the regular portion! Photo 5's plate of sashimi suddenly got generous, each slice was fresh, luring, thick & fatty! Photo 6/7's main courses of NY steak and short rib had so much meat that it made us question life! After feeding the four dishes to my very large appetite, I barely crawled out of the restaurant only for them to bring out +1 of the weighing cheesecake and a Tiramisu finale! I gotta say, this is the fullest I've ever been from a Valentine's Day dinner! 🚩Yoshi's 510 Embarcadero West, Oakland, CA 94607 #Yoshis #ValentinesDaySpecial #JapaneseCombo #FoodieExperience #OaklandEats
