I thought covering my food in the microwave would save me time and keep things clean. Instead, I spent half an hour scraping dried spaghetti sauce off the ceiling because I used the wrong kind of plastic wrap—again. I bought a cheap cover from the dollar store, but it melted the first week. Paper towels? They stuck to my leftovers and left bits everywhere. Every hack I tried either left my food cold in the middle or turned my microwave into a crime scene. Now I just eat cold leftovers. It’s not worth the mess or the stress.
