Is Skipping Showers at Summer Camp a Rite of Passage?

Okay, am I the only parent who finds it wild that some summer camps don’t require showers for two whole weeks? My kid just got back from camp, and when I asked about shower time, I got a sheepish grin and a shrug. Apparently, swimming in the lake counts as a bath now!
