Natural Birth Regrets: Wishing I’d Chosen the Epidural

Has anyone else looked back on their natural birth experience and wondered if an epidural might have made things easier? I was determined to go medication-free with my first child, believing it would be empowering. But the pain was so much more intense than I expected, and I struggled to stay present in the moment. Looking back, I sometimes wish I’d given myself permission to accept help and choose the epidural. It’s not that I regret my baby’s arrival, but I do wonder if the experience could have been less overwhelming. Has anyone else felt this way?
