Discipline in a Military Family: My Approach as a Dad

As a military dad, discipline has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve carried that mindset into my parenting. When my daughter acts out or crosses a line, I sometimes feel the urge to respond with a firm hand, just like I was raised. Growing up, my father believed in tough love, and I thought that was the only way to teach respect and responsibility.
