Survived a Near Head-On Collision—Still Shaken, Still Grateful

After 25 years and over a million miles on the road, I thought I’d seen it all—until today. I was stuck behind a slow driver for miles, finally got a chance to pass, and suddenly he sped up. Out of nowhere, a car turned into my lane, and I had nowhere to go. I had to make a split-second decision and forced the other car onto the shoulder to avoid a head-on crash.
