Today was supposed to be just another day at the marketing agency, but it turned into a nightmare. I got a text from my boss—clearly not meant for me—making a joke about the recent loss I’ve been struggling with. It was sent to me by mistake, but the damage was instant. I felt my chest tighten, and before I knew it, I was crying in the break room. The office suddenly felt so cold and unfamiliar. I announced I was leaving and walked out, unsure if I’d ever come back.
