I spent most of my life not realizing I had chronic anxiety. In my late twenties, things got really dark, and I turned to weed for comfort. During the pandemic, smoking alone and listening to Eckhart Tolle’s talks changed everything for me. Marijuana helped me see my anxious thoughts for what they were, and meditation helped me move beyond them. A few months ago, I felt I was relying too much on weed, so I quit.
