He Banned Pets, So I Befriended the Backyard Cat

Apparently, 'no pets' means no official adoption paperwork. But does it cover accidental feline friendships? Because last week, a scruffy tabby started hanging around our garden. I swear I didn’t invite her—unless you count the trail of tuna crackers I left by the back door. My partner insists our apartment is a pet-free zone. But the universe (and maybe my snack stash) had other plans. Now, every evening, I find myself sharing my cheese sticks with a very grateful, very purry guest. She’s not my cat. She just happens to nap on our couch and judge my TV choices. Is it technically breaking the rules if the cat adopts you first? Asking for a friend.
