Too Young for Ajijic?

I’m 23 and heading to Ajijic, and honestly, I’m bracing for the weirdness of being the youngest person in every room. Most posts and photos scream retirement village—sun hats, slow walks, expat potlucks. I keep asking myself: is there anything here for someone who still gets carded? I’ve scrolled through endless forums. The nightlife is more margarita-at-sunset than late-night chaos. Bars close early. The lake is pretty, but the pace is slow, almost like time’s on vacation too.
