At 20, I’ve realized age doesn’t matter when it comes to understanding the value of being alone. I’m tired of attachments and expectations that only end up hurting me. No matter how much you give, you’re the one left blamed. People are quick to say yes, but even quicker to use you. I’m stepping back now—emotionally drained and just wanting peace.
