After school used to feel like a mad dash—snacks, homework, and then everyone scattered. But lately, I’ve started adding a 10-minute "decompression" window right after we walk in the door. We all grab a snack, share one fun or tough thing about our day, and just breathe together before homework or activities begin. It’s made such a difference!
