Is My First “Real” Job Supposed to Feel This Empty?

Last year, I finally landed my first "real" job—good pay, decent benefits, and a supportive team. On paper, it’s the dream. But every morning, I wake up with this weird sense of dread, like I’m stuck in a loop I never signed up for. I thought having a stable job would make me feel secure and confident, but instead, I’m just… numb. I don’t hate what I do, but I can’t say I love it either. The days blend together, and by the time I get home, I’m so mentally drained I can barely think straight. Is this just what adulthood feels like, or am I missing something deeper?
