Fairy Meadows is the kind of place people call unreal, but standing there, Nanga Parbat looming in the distance, I felt nothing. I’d seen the photos, read the blogs—everyone talks about the magic. But my mind kept circling back to the cracked screen of my phone, the messages I hadn’t answered, the life I’d left on pause. The grass was soft, the air thin, and I kept waiting for awe to hit. It didn’t. Maybe it’s possible to stand in front of the world’s ninth-highest peak and still feel small in all the wrong ways. Maybe the view isn’t always the answer. #TravelConfessions #UnfilteredJourneys #WandererTruths #Travel
