Adopted by a Pregnant Cat: Send Help (and Snacks)

So, a very round, very determined stray cat decided my porch was her new home. She stared me down until I caved and let her in. Turns out, she’s not just looking for food—she’s about to have kittens. I went from zero pets to a full-on feline maternity ward in about five minutes. I’m not sure if I’m ready for this level of responsibility, but apparently, I don’t get a say. She’s already claimed my favorite chair and is eyeing the laundry basket for her big moment. If anyone has tips for surviving kitten season (or how to explain to my landlord that I’ve been forcibly adopted), please send them my way. Also, send snacks. For me and the soon-to-be mom.
