Is My Job Just a Fancy Title for Doing Nothing? 🤔

I landed what seemed like a dream job in Chicago: great office, friendly colleagues, and a decent paycheck. But here's the catch—my daily task is to scroll through online listings for printer supplies, compare prices, and pass leads to the buying team. That’s it. Eight hours a day, every day. It sounds important, but honestly, I feel like my role is just a dressed-up title for something that adds zero value to society. I’m not learning anything new, and it’s hard to shake the feeling that I’m just wasting time and coffee. Sometimes I wonder if anyone else feels stuck in a job that sounds impressive but feels pointless. Has anyone else dealt with this?
